Okay, so I have never done this before so here it goes.

I am well, 30'ish kinda, okay maybe not. How about 50'ish. I have a wonderful significant other, Don that I love so much!! He is too good to me. Believe it or not he cleans, washes dries folds and puts away laundry, does dishes, mops floors, works in the yard, keeps the garage clean and is building a shed. Not to mention irons clothes!! I know, amazing isn't it? I think he's a keeper! My friends ask me if he has a brother, but he's one of a kind. We have a blast together. I love spending time with him. We go to the mountains and shoot the guns. I have two guns, one was my dad's and he bought me the other. It's small enough to fit in my purse and fits my hand perfectly. Don't worry, I have a concealed weapons permit. I used the gun he bought me to qualify on the shooting range. Of course I passed with flying colors since he has taught me how to shoot. We go hunting, this last season we got a forked horn buck. We cut up steaks and made a ton of jerky that is out of this world. Of course during elk season we got nothing. He did shoot two Grouse. I cooked them up for the first time in my life and they turned out pretty good if I do say so myself. He really liked them.

I have two great sons Chris and Geoff that have absolutely adorable wives Angela and Cali. I love them just like they were my daughters. I have the most beautiful grandson named Nicholas. He's going to be 7 in August. He and I have been best buddy's since he was born. Then they, Chris and Angela decided to move to Lincoln City which is 5 hours away. We both were devastated. When they told him they were moving he cried and asked, "what about memaw?" (that's what he has called me all his life), "Can she come to?". I bawled so hard when they left. My oldest son Chris is a police man in Lincoln City. My youngest son Geoff and his wife Cali live in Orem Utah, they haven't started a family yet.....(hint hint). They both are going to school full time and working full time. They're even farther away! I hate having my kids so far away. Sometimes days I cry because I miss them so much it hurts!! If I had my way I would have us all live in the same town. I love my family so much!!! They mean the world to me!! Don and I are going on vacation the third week of May. We're going to Lincoln City to see the kids. Nicholas is so excited. I can't wait to see him, oh yeah I can't wait to see Chris and Angela to. We're going to go deep sea fishing. I love to fish. Don has never fished in the Ocean so this will be an experience for him. I went a couple years ago and caught the limit of Cod and Sea Bass. It was soooooooo yummy!! We're also going to eat at "The Sea Hag" in Depot Bay. I love that place, they have the BEST fish and chips along the entire coast! Every time I go down there to see the kids I say I'm going to go there, but something always comes up and I don't make it. But this time we WILL eat there. Don has a daughter Heather that I adore!! She lives in Weiser Idaho. That's about 3 hours away from here.

I'm an RN working in a Prison after working 17 years in a hospital setting. I mostly worked in ER. I loved that, but I wanted to expand my horizons and see what else was out there for nurses. I have been there for 4 years, (I could tell storied that would curl your hair). I must admit this is completely and totally different nursing that I have ever done. I actually like it. I also teach CPR and I have just started teaching a CNA class. Now that's a challenge!!
Well, I guess that's enough of me for now. I'm sure I will think of something else to put on here.

Whoa Geoff.... a man of many words. Hey Denise, this is great you've got a blog now. I'm still too chicken to venture out into the "blog world", so I'll just read my family's and post a comment here and there. I'm glad you're doing well and staying busy and happy. I'll keep in touch, ok? Take care! TTYL
